My wonderful chair : Updated

So remember this chair I bought a couple months ago? Well, I finally got the space the way I have always wanted it to be! I got some shelves from Ikea to display some of my books and things, and then the little side table when I went to an antique fair. The paper lantern is also from Ikea and even though it doesn't provide much light, but I love the ambiance it brings. I just love sitting here on my laptop or with a book, drinking a cup of tea and cuddling with Marly. Just thought I'd share this transformation with you because it makes me pretty happy :)

Such an adorable little nook! Judging by the books on your shelf we have remarkably similar taste in reading material, do you have a favorite book? (I know that’s an impossible question, so a few favorites would work too! I am always on the hunt for my next good read)

thank you! that is definitely an impossible question, but i do like books by David Sedaris because i enjoy his snarky and sarcastic sense of humor. Some of my other favorites are One Day (they made a movie of it last year but the book was better, of course!), Looking for Alaska, The Catcher in the Rye, It's Kind of a Funny Story, and really anything by Sarah Dessen. I guess I like "coming of age" books because I'm sort of "coming of age" i suppose. Hope that helps!
