Just Keep Driving

I have always loved road trips and long car rides. Since I started driving when I was 16, I have loved such rides even more, especially when they are down the coast with stunning views. I am definitely a lucky California girl to be able to do this as often as I do!

A week or so ago, Dai and I took a nice drive when we went to Pescadero to have a picnic on the beach. We then took the extra long way home, which just happens to be one that I have always admired. The road took us through the countryside, little forest towns, and on a windy route.

I even convinced Dai to let me stop a few times to capture scenes like this farm in the golden light.

Aren't these just the best kind of drives? The ones where you stop where you please and pay no mind to the clock?

Happy Wednesday, friends! Hope your week is swell so far!

I LOVE road trips, too!
I plan on doing a southern California beach tour/road trip this summer, and I'm really excited about that!

I love the barn pictures and the self portrait in the side mirror.

That sounds like so much fun! I need to get out and do something like that. Chase those waves :)

Thank you! I really need to take more photos in the golden light. It's my favorite.

I used to hate driving, but ever since I moved to a big city with no car, I now treasure the weeks I'm home and can drive wherever. Great photos!

I'm so jealous! Beautiful scenery always makes drives go by faster :)

Yes it does :) I'm itching for another road trip! I took an 8 hour road trip by myself before Christmas and I'm ready to hit the road again. Oh the restless heart of a galavantress, you know?
