Outfit // A Coral Spring

head-bow-1
Happy May! Another month is here and, of course, I can hardly believe how quickly the past one just flew by! We started the month off with a nice little trip to San Diego, joining a co-ed softball team, and attending the admitted student welcome day at my new college! Since then, I've been quite busy with school assignments, work, and preparing to temporarily move all of my things (and myself) to Dai's house for the summer. This week especially completely wiped me out and I'm looking forward to having an entire weekend to relax and catch up on all of the things that I have been meaning to do, including blogging!head-bow-2
This week has been pretty warm and lovely! It has been fun to put together more spring-like outfits like this one. I wore this outfit on a little date night we had last week to have dinner at a pizza place that just opened up nearby and to have a coffee date. head-bow-3 head-bow-4
I absolutely love this corally-orange colored top. Besides the beautiful color, it has the perfect amount of *flow* to it and is very soft. I, of course, had to also snag it in black! I'm set for summer.head-bow-5
When we were in San Diego last month, we enjoyed taking morning walks to the beach, which took us through a little downtown area filled with shops and restaurants. On one of our walks back, a store window with beautiful, colorful, big skirted dresses caught my eye and I knew that I just had to stop in. Well, it turns out that it is a very small boutique owned by a sweet gal named Priscilla! She hand sews all of the dresses and things in her Etsy shop, Priscilla Dawn, and has the store front open at different times throughout the week. She is a twenty-something girl working hard to follow her dreams and I really admire that about her! We had a lovely conversation that led to the topic of blogging, and she sent me home with this fun scarf to feature here on the blog!head-bow-6
There are obviously many ways to style scarves, but I have been wanting to try out the whole head scarf style thing and this seemed like the perfect one to try it with! It is silky and lightweight, so it is pretty comfy to wear in this way. Plus, the geometric shapes on it are a fun touch! I think I need some practice with this kind of look, but I could see myself sporting it more often from now on :)

I just love how unique and vibrant all of her designs and fabrics are! I'd love to rock one of her many cute dresses with a full, fun skirt. I definitely encourage you to go take a look at her lovely shop! Thanks so much, Priscilla!

I hope you all have a great, relaxing weekend! I'm excited for this new month and to get back to blogging more regularly! May's editorial calendar is looking pretty good so far, so stay tuned :)
