Sunday Sangria

Hello! It is Sunday, so why not share a sangria recipe? Because those two sound nice together. A couple weekends ago, my Aunt Jenny and I made some to go with a lovely dinner we were having. So,  I've never actually had sangria, but why not? I'm sure it's pretty easy and maybe I'm silly for even sharing this, but let's be honest, as a 19-year-old, I don't know much about alcohol. Except for some mischief I probably shouldn't mention here since some of my family reads this blog ;) Love you Aunt Kathy! (side note: I am forever indebted to you, Dai. You too, Laura, you too...)
At any rate, just chop up some fruit of your choice, get some fresh orange juice, the cheapest red wine (I mean, you're just gonna add juice to it!), and some of this black cherry juice concentrate. We used whatever fruit we had laying around, such as strawberries, oranges, and apples. Then, just mix it all up and let it chill in the fridge.
Now that I've tried it, I can think of so many other ways you could add variety to it. It's pretty simple! You can really add any type of fruit you want, and make it as sweet as you would like. I think it actually tasted better the next day, once it had time to really soak in. My favorite part was the fruit, since their sweetness balanced out the bitterness of the wine.

Anyway, I hope you have had a wonderful weekend and that this could be a nice treat to end it!
