This coming weekend, Dai and I are celebrating our 4-year anniversary! We are going to be spending the weekend away together in Southern California to celebrate and I am really excited! It isn't always easy to decide what to do with your loved one to acknowledge a special milestone, though, so I came up with some ideas that you can use for your next anniversary (or even a wonderful date)!
+ Spa day
This might not sound so fun to your guy, but I am sure he will quickly change his mind once you two begin your day of pampering! Get a massage or facial together, and maybe even a pedicure :) Who doesn't love a day of relaxing?!
+ Day at an amusement park
Bring our your inner child or daredevil by spending a day at an amusement park! It is always fun to do something that you don't get to do on a regular basis, and an amusement park is a great way to let loose and have fun!
+ Day trip
Leave early in the morning and make the most out of your day by taking a drive a few hours away to explore a new town! Or spend the day in your nearest big city doing and seeing new things and/or your favorite familiar things. End the day with dinner at a cool spot and you've just had a great anniversary!
+ Make a special dinner at home
Making a special dinner at home is a great low-key option! You two could even go shopping together for the things to create your dinner and then when you get home, pour a glass of wine, put some music on, and make the meal together! End the evening with a yummy dessert and maybe even a movie on the couch. You can make this celebration as fancy or easy going as you'd like!
+ Spend a weekend away!
If you have the time and budget, this is definitely a wonderful way to celebrate your love! With the busyness of the work week, it can be difficult to spend quality one-on-one time with your loved one. It is always nice to take a weekend trip together to recharge and focus on one another! Weekend trips are great for places that you can easily drive to :)
